Shedd Aquarium, Chicago (June, 2008)

 
The aquarium is setup in a basic hub and spoke floor plan with a few extended areas.  And like most, it can take well over 2 hours to walk through.

The spokes (example seen here) are called exhibits and are usually not too deep but are packed with all sorts of interesting things.  And, given that it is a major US city, you can probably count on it being pretty crowded.  This is as light as it got and we were there on a Wednesday afternoon.
