The Oklahoma Convention & Visitors Bureau
states in its promotional information that the OKC Zoo is rated as a
top 10 zoo nationwide. I haven't been to all that many, so I
guess I'd have to agree. Top 10 zoo or not, it is still worth the
time spent. Most of the exhibits are pretty nice and the whole zoo is designed fairly well to get the visitor as close to the animals as possible. The Red Kangaroos (pictured) had a very pretty area. They were fairly active too which is always fun when it comes to kangaroos. |
