Here's a great example of how well-done the design and layout of the zoo is.  The cat area is probably one of the smaller of the areas.  However, using lots of tall bamboo groves and building the habitats up from ground level while giving the cats as much space as possible, they were able to create a very pretty setting, make the cats feel a bit "hidden" and yet give visitors a great chance to see them at a fairly close range.
