There isn't much info on the area on the web or in area guidebooks, but we thought it might be a nice mountain lake.  We weren't expecting Rockies or anything but still something worth hiking to.  The drive to the trailhead (on the New Jersey side) was fairly promising.  But once we got there we found the trailhead was right next to the lake and we noticed a bunch of kids playing in the lake making all kinds of noise.  The hike was boring, the lake was anticlimactic, and the mosquitoes were enough to eat you alive!
