| Another location, on the fringe of the core area, that is definitely worth checking out is called Keys View. You can drive right up to the 5,200 ft "overlook" and see forever from up there. To the south mountains in Mexico can be seen and to the northwest all you see is the freakin' smog pouring over the mountain pass from Los Angeles (the cesspool of American society). The town of Palm Springs, the San Andres Fault line and Mt. San Jacinto can also be seen. Click here for a panoramic. | |||||
