Geography of the Desert Southwest from 30,000 feet (April, 2002)

 
Due to weather in Dallas / Ft. Worth our regular flight was cancelled and we were rebooked on a flight with only first class seats available.   Oh darn.

I can really get used to first class!

Anyway with access to two windows and a beautiful day I shot a bunch of photos from the window of what the southwest United States looks like (in terms of geography) from 30,000 feet in the air.

This is a thick cloud cover over the costal areas of California.  You are seeing the beginning of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the distance.
