It was dark by the time we got there, but
the place is well lit and we had a great time exploring around in the
darkness and solitude of the desert. (Roughley Manor is located
just outside of the town of Twentynine Palms which is on the north
side of Joshua Tree.) After looking around for a while we hopped
in the hot tub and relaxed while watching the stars.
NOTE: Sorry about the photos.
If you haven't noticed by now the edges are all blurry. I was
using a new lens (that sucks) from Kodak. It was a
wide-angle....except it blurred things terribly as they approached the
edge of the frame. I was using my Kodak DC290 digital camera. |
