For the best wines in the area head to
Baily Winery and Vineyards. The grounds aren't anything
spectacular and the winery isn't outstanding, but what matters the
most--the wine--is tops here. Our favorites were the Riesling and the Montage. The guy at the winery also gave us a great tip on a restaurant back in Temecula--Filipi's. Great pizza and Italian food and the prices were pretty good too. You can see in this shot that the vines aren't very full, since it was early in the season, and that the ground is very dry in the area. |
