The San Diego Zoo is usually regarded as
one of the top zoos in the nation, but having gone to Sea World the
day before we had to remember it is still just that--a
zoo. That means bars, sleeping animals some antiquated habitats
and lots of distance between visitors and the animals. For the
high zoo price of $20 per person, we didn't think it could hold a
candle to Sea World. With that said it is still a nice zoo--one
of the nicest I've been to. (Although St. Louis is a pretty good
one.) There are three exhibits we
recommend you don't miss and in fact we'd suggest planning to spend
the most time at those three. They are the pandas, the gorillas,
and the meerkats. |
