San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum, San Diego, CA (June, 2005)

 
Located right on the water of the San Diego harbor, the Aircraft Carrier Museum (aboard the retired Midway aircraft carrier) is a pretty neat experience.

Here's the view from the ground of the back of the carrier.  What you can see halfway up is a restaurant on the back of the ship that helps to support the museum with some additional revenue sources.
