A trip to Zion is not complete without spending a day, wide-eyed wandering up the sometimes 20 foot wide path that the seemingly placid Virgin River has cut down through 2,000 feet of solid rock.  Millennia after millennia it has continued its slow but steady job of carving out one of the most incredible canyons in the world.
