The trail into The Narrows begins at the
end of Zion Canyon, about a 30 minute shuttle ride from the visitors
center at other end of the canyon. The last stop (where you
get off) is the Temple of Sinawava. Don't get in such a hurry
to hit The Narrows that you forget to look around, it truly does get
its name honestly. From there you head up the somewhat scenic,
1-mile long Riverside Walk (on the right side of the photo).
This is a paved trail and easily
accessible by all. It will also be crowded! This section
of the Virgin is beginning to get more scenic than its appearance
through most of Zion Canyon. |
