There is no better way to describe
it...Zion is a national treasure. Not only is it one of
the brightest jewels in the Park Service's crown, but it provides
such a display of unique beauty that anyone who has visited the park
will tell you a similar tale. Zion is an unparalleled experience with opportunities to gaze at cliffs thousands of feet high, walk up slot canyons carved by millions of years of water rushing through, and stand on points that feel like they are on the verge of heaven. It is a "must do" for anyone visiting the desert southwest. Shown here is The Streaked Wall that stands 3,000 feet over the valley floor and in the cooler season is dotted with climbers on multi-day ascents. |
