Their main attraction is the shark tank.
It is a no frills tank loaded with bull, tiger, lemon and nurse
sharks. The best part, though, is the
walk thru
tunnel with a dome in the middle. You can sort of see it
through the water in the photo.
There were plenty of opportunities to
stop and sit and just enjoy watching the sharks as they glide by.
It is their newest attraction and really makes the aquarium
worthwhile.
Also right next door to the Shark
Adventure was the Coral Reef tank. While it isn't the biggest
tropical tank
I've ever seen it was well designed so it seemed to envelope you and
had a decent variety of fish. We enjoyed hanging around there
for a bit and just watching the fish swim by. |
