Other than the Charters of Freedom the
Rotunda holds a number of other documents on display such as the
Articles of Confederation, the Louisiana Purchase, The Emancipation
Proclamation, and even Thomas Edison's patent application for the
light bulb. Click here to see a shot of the Louisiana Purchase. Regardless of which document you'd really like to see, the Archives are well worth a stop and an hour or so. |
