Library of Congress, Washington DC (August, 2004)

The Library of Congress is actually three different buildings--the Jefferson Building, the Madison Building and the Adams Building.

Pictured here is the Jefferson Building.  This building is where the visitors center is located and most of what you would want to see at the LOC.

I only had a little time to explore the Library of Congress and I was on a mission to find the Gutenberg Bible.  However, I was overwhelmed by all that the LOC had to offer visitors.  And to think, this is actually a working library--the largest library in the world!
