Education As a school board member for more than nine years, and as a mother, I understand the importance of quality public education. I will lead the fight to ensure our schoolchildren get their fair share from Jefferson City. Teachers, principals and superintendents across the district support me in this effort. Seniors Seniors should not have to choose between food and medicine. They deserve affordable health care when they need it the most. After years of hard work, seniors should not have to be placed in this difficult situation. I will protect our seniors and work to give them the benefits they deserve. Small Business Through my years as an employee at the Chamber of Commerce, I understand the many ways local businesses invest in our communities, from Crane, Galena and Hurley to Billings, Clever and Nixa. I will make sure our small businesses are not hampered by government bureaucracy. Health Care Our families must have access to affordable health care and insurance. As a mother, I know the difference between having and not having adequate protection for families.
