District 141 is a great
place to live and work! It includes parts of the fastest growing county in
Missouri (Christian) and is home to many family farms and small businesses
and some larger employers as well. In Nixa, Clever, Billings, Galena,
Crane and many other communities, we are typical working families, trying
hard to improve the quality of life for our children and neighbors. |

I believe
that working families deserve a strong voice in Jefferson City.As
state representative, I will work hard to make sure our district
gets the state dollars it deserves.
In my nine years on the Nixa board of education, I helped form the vision
for Missouri’s fastest growing school district, then helped carry it out.
It’s the same kind of service I will bring to the House of
Representatives: Listening to the people, planning for what could be, then
acting on it.
I’m excited about running for the 141st District. I will bring a strong
sense of service to the House of Representatives, based on my experience
on the school board, working career, volunteerism and my experience as a
parent.
As communications manager of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, I
have gained an awareness of the challenges faced by businesses,
particularly small businesses. My role as a community volunteer has put me
in touch with the disadvantaged, with young people, with political
activists and others. I believe I am uniquely qualified to represent the
citizens of the 141st.
I promise to run a positive campaign centered on issues and
qualifications. But it takes money to run a campaign. Your support will
insure that I can inform the voters and get out my message.
