If you head west from the Cafe, in about a half mile you'll run into the MKT Tunnel.  It's a sweet little spot to hang out for a while and look around.

The largest Rails-To-Trails project in the U.S., the KATY (short for Missouri, Kansas, Texas Railroad) is primarily flat and runs along the Missouri River.  It has turned scores of old river towns into tourist getaways.  Find out more here.
