Another top-notch aspect of Stone Hill
in Hermann is the wine tasting at the end of the tour.
They run you through all the wines
starting with the drys and running to the blushes. And if you
ask nice they will let you try their Port, which is a great wine.
(It ought to be for $25 a bottle--which is high for non-California
wines....here in the Midwest we don't add a surcharge for additional
snobbery to the cost of our wines.) |
