When we moved into our new house in 1989
we decided we needed to make a wiffleball field in the backyard.
The only problem was there wasn't enough flat ground. No
problem...we just turned one into the outfield and the other was
eliminated by a backstop (next page).
Dad (pitching) was a great sport
(sometimes) to get out and play with us.
The field playing field was 78' down
the left field line, 79' down the right field line, and 100' straight
away. On "game days" we'd get the lawn mower out and cut the
baselines, warning track, and traditional path from the plate to the
mound about an inch lower than the rest of the grass. |
