ONEOK Field is Tulsa's incredible new
minor league stadium. Located in downtown the stadium opened
in April 2010 as the new home of the Tulsa Drillers.
The $39M
ballpark is
first class, adding many fan amenities and weaving the ballpark into
the urban fabric of downtown Tulsa's Greenwood District. As
you can see from the view from our seats (Section 110, Row N) the
designer (HOK, now Populous) did a great job creating the ballpark.
It was the second stop on our tour of
Texas League ballparks. Our good friend and baseball fan Judy
is travelling with us to see a Springfield Cardinals game at each
ballpark. We hit Arvest Ballpark late last season and our next
stop will likely be DS Park in Little Rock. |
