SBC Park, San Francisco (June, 2004)

The park is probably most recognized by the short section of stands in right field that allow long balls to head straight into the San Francisco Bay.  (And the fact that switch-hitting Barry Bonds regularly dumps homeruns into the bay helps!)

This bit of character is part of the trend now days to make baseball stadiums unique and to give them each a different feel...often time equating to a home team advantage.

The walkway here is very interesting also.  It goes all the way around the stadium and is open during the day, even when games are going on.
