It is in a beautiful setting and it is a
beautiful park on the outside. The landscaping was incredible
and the presence the home plate gate has from the street level is
impressive. There's even a sweet Marriott resort up the hill
if you want to stay near by in style.
However, the park does have a parking
problem. They have a very small lot immediately adjacent to
the park is the freeway, hills, and a business park that's stingy
with its parking. If you plan to go, arrive early and be
prepared to walk a ways.
If I had to pick, Tempe Diablo as my
favorite ballpark of the 3 we visited, but not by much. You
can find a bit more info from the City of Tempe's official
site for
the stadium. |
