The atmosphere for baseball is awesome at
Tempe Diablo. It is the spring training
home of the Los Angeles Angels and, from what I read, they had
the biggest local following in the Phoenix area. (The D'Backs
training Tucson.) So we decided to take that theory head on and attend a game where the Angels played their cross-town rival the LA Dodgers. The park has a capacity of nearly 9,800 and while the official attendance was just over 8,800, I'd swear it was more crowded than that. The shot here is of the corridor between seats and concessions during game play in 3rd inning. So the stage was set for a great baseball game. Not so much...4-0 Dodgers and nothing too exciting. |
