Yankee Stadium: The House That Ruth
Built. This 75 year old ballpark was built one year after the
Yankees bought Babe Ruth from Boston. His newfound slugging
ability packed in the fans, paving the way for a new stadium.
Located on the south end of the Bronx, the
home of the 26-time world champion New York Yankees, provides a unique
look at baseball....I have yet to see fans this ruthless! After
getting tagged for 5 runs in the 5th and 6th innings, the Yankees'
fans were ferociously booing their own pitcher off the mound!
I've never seen anything like it. Glad I don't play for the
Yankees |
