The next day we hiked the Buffalo River
trail from Kyles to Erbie. (We found a great camp spot for
several tents about 1½ miles from Kyles. It is on the top of a
ridge, so water is an issue but other than that it looked good.) Along the trail are several really neat areas. The best is a smaller version of Indian Creek--Shop Creek. The falls pictured here are close to where the BRT intersects the creek. Much easier to explore than Indian Creek also. In addition to Shop Creek there are a few creek crossings that are nice and a great bluff overlook down to the river. |
