Tim Ernst, who writes the guidebooks for
the area, loves beech trees and really talks up any section of trail
with a nice stand of them. Though we don't quite get that
excited they are very interesting trees and add a new element to a
forest scene that can start to bore some. The section before you get to Arrington Creek has quite a few groupings of beeches. |
