Hemmed-In Hollow, Buffalo River (May, 2001)

The hollow itself is about a mile long (ending in the Buffalo River) and is just an incredible place to be.  It is tight, steep, has a beautiful stream flowing through, and while in the hollow you just feel completely hidden from the rest of the world.  Even the "entrance" from the river is hidden away.

This was taken by a very nice guy and his father-in-law who were right behind us.  Notice the falls on the left (our right).  All you can really see is the splash on the rocks.
