Hideout Hollow, Buffalo River (January, 2009)

Mel and I were there with Jason and Christy in the late 1990's on a wet and rainy day.  We enjoyed it, but for some reason we hadn't headed back until now.

Brent and Greg were with us on this trip and they'd done been there, so we decided to check it out.  The weather was perfect, around 70º (on January 3rd) and the sun was shining.

It was a nice winter break and it was only accentuated by the enjoyable hike through a large grove of pine trees.

At first the trail heads downhill, crosses a stream and around to cross another and then up again.  Once you hit the top you are into the pine grove all the way (¼ of mile maybe) down to the bluff line.
