From Horseshoe Bend we took a bit of a
side trip just to see more of the river and to kill some time before
we needed to setup camp. We took the Old River Trail towards Kyles Landing, stopping after the last river crossing before Kyles. Dad learned exactly how slippery these river crossings can be. Slowly but surely he worked his way across without taking a spill on any of them. Click here to see some of this "near-death" slipping experiences. |
