Of the trails I've done before, the Old
River Trail, from Kyles to Horseshoe Bend / Compton has to be one of
my Top 5 favorite hikes. There isn't one single landmark you're looking for, with the possible exception of the falls at Hemmed-In, but yet the trail just seems to hold one memorable scene after another. There are plenty of nice spots that seem to be burned into my mind forever. This is one of them. It's the first crossing leaving out of Kyles. |
