Old River Trail, Compton to Ponca (September, 2002)

 
We needed to filter some water so we headed down to the river and were lucky enough to find (close-by) a beautiful section of river with clear-flowing water.

After a day of hiking in 90º weather we headed straight for a place to plop down and cool off.  Man, did it feel good!  The water is just cool enough this time of year.

After cooling off, Jason and Nate started filtering water while I started shooting pictures.  To see them in action, click here.
