From South Gap we headed to the opposite
end of Round Top to North Scenic Point. Again a nice split
rail fence guarding against the edge and a small clearing giving you
great views across miles and miles of the Ozarks. From North Point we headed back on the West Trail where you get occasional views through the trees and a pretty trail through the forest. We decided to head on to Alum Cove (our next stop) and not mess with the lower loop trail at all. |
