Sam's Throne is a climbing Mecca for
anyone in the vicinity of the Ozarks region.
The exposed sandstone cliffs along the
top of most of the leveled-off mountain tops in the area provide
great climbing spots. The sandstone is great to climb on and
the mountain tops provide great spots to setup protections.
The climbs range from short
bouldering to 60' - 75' pitches.
Sam's Throne is in the Ozark National
Forest and is controlled by the US Forest Service. |
