Roaring River State Park (Cassville, Missouri)

Most of the structures in the park, including the hatchery, were built by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) in the 1930's.

The lodge (pictured) is currently being renovated.  There are also plenty of nearby cabins available with a reservation.

The valley in which the river flows is very picturesque and full of things to see and do.  It holds the campsites, this lodge (and cabins), the hatchery, the spring, several large open fields, and plenty of spots to get right down to the river and is all easily accessible.
