The really cool thing about Cave Spring is
you can run your canoe right into the cave and over the 120 foot
deep spring
itself. There isn't a strong current coming from the spring so
I doubt it has a very high flow rate but the experience of canoeing
into the cave is pretty cool. When we got there, there was a pretty good crowd in the area so we waited it out on the nice gravel bar across the river, which also makes a great place to stop and relax while in the area. |
