This is the photo of us on the river in
'98. (I'm in the front right.)
Only one person from our group got
tossed from the raft during a rapid and we were able to pick her up
real quick.

There is something really interesting
about the Ocoee...by day, the river is a whitewater rafting course,
but by night it is dry. Huh?
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)
controls the river and it's flow. When the "shut the river
off" the water is diverted to make hydroelectric energy. Keep
