It certainly is the crossroads of northern Arizona.  Two interstates and a slew of other US Highways connecting it to some of the best of the Desert Southwest--Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Glen Canyon, the Four Corners, etc.

This is our second trip to Flagstaff and while we've enjoyed it, the place has never excited us a somewhere to write home about or somewhere we'd like to live someday.  We can't put our finger on it, but have determined it just isn't our vibe.
