It was my first attempt and first summit in the area and is ALWAYS crowded.  For more details on the hike up to the top, check out my previous slideshow.

The shot here is from Echo Canyon about 1/3 of the way up the Echo Canyon Summit Trail.  It is certainly a rough hike with lots of rocks and elevation gain.

We decided to hike it on a Monday morning to avoid the crowds.  We got there about 9:30am and still had to park way out of the way at the overflow lot a half mile away.
