One of the selling points for deciding on
Phoenix was the fact that Major League Baseball's Spring Training
was going on. The
Cactus League
has 15 of the major league teams and all but 2 play in the Phoenix
area. We decided to check out a game each day and opted for a
combination of teams we wanted to see in parks that seemed to be
more interesting. The first day
we saw a split squad of the Giants play Seattle in Peoria. On
Sunday it was Oakland hosting Kansas City at Phoenix Municipal
Stadium. Shown here is Tempe Diablo Stadium home of the Los
Angeles Angels who were taking on the LA Dodgers. All 3 days
were beautiful weather for watching relaxed baseball! |
