If you hike one trail in the area I would
have to say it is a toss up between this one and West Fork. The Cathedral Rock trail is a short one, only ¾ of a mile. But, it is steep, gaining over 600 feet in that short distance. This photo shows the trail just off of the trailhead. The first part is mainly slickrock, with cairns marking the way. Click here for the panoramic of this shot.
