We spent most of the week hiking but we
did work in some time for shopping, and Sedona definitely has plenty
of opportunities for that. Uptown
Sedona is one of the largest areas. Hillside Shopping Center has
some really cool (and expensive) galleries. But the neatest area
was a shopping village called Tlaquepaque.
It was a maze of Spanish-style villas
that had some really interesting shops. There were lots of
restaurants, shaded plazas, and tons of fountains!
The area is located along Oak Creek
just south of the 89A / 179 junction. For their website (which
is well done) click
