Dalian, Liaoning Province (May, 2007)

The square itself was laid out by the Russian planners fascinated with Paris.

The building on the top left is a government building and reminded me very much of Philadelphia.

The photo on the top right really show the modern aspects of Dalian with the lights and skyscrapers including the Dalian World Trade Center.

The building on the right side of the bottom right photo is one built by the Japanese during their occupation in the first half of the century and was the former Dalian City Hall.
