North China, Introduction (May, 2007)

 
So if it wasn’t on the top of my list, why’d I go? I was part of a 9-member delegation that was focused on improving business relationships between our community and the cities in China with which we have formal agreements.

As a result we were able to have several meetings with Chambers of Commerce and local companies that had potential business partnerships with companies in our city.

Though the trip was well-stocked with business meetings we were able to see various parts of the cities we visited. Many times we were toured around by locals who knew their way around, making it an even better experience.
