Most of the shops and restaurants were
in the town of Winter Park (which was, by the way, much nicer
looking. Higher quality buildings, landscaping, set-backs,
etc.) This photo is from the
ski resort. In the summer they open what is called an alpine
slide--2 tracks of smooth concrete over 3,000 feet long. You
get a little cart to sit on and control the speed and you rocket
down the track. This is a BLAST! (The chairlift ride up
is pretty cool too.) It's $8 though. Check out their
