The whole drive went quicker than we thought and
after burning nearly an hour looking for the overlook of Denver we
were over 2 hours early. To check out the overlook view, click

Since we didn't have a room until 3pm that
day we hit the free parking lot on the outskirts, shuttled into Center
Village changed clothes and stole a 1 hour nap--on the couch in the
conference center we weren't supposed to be in. =) The
gear place, Christy Sports in East Village, opened at 9am. We
were in line over an hour (but we got a great deal--$30 for 3 days.)
From there it was a shuttle to the other end (Union Creek) and then hit the slopes the minute they opened.
