Copper Mountain Resort, Colorado (February, 2003)

Half a dozen trips down the starter slope and it was up the Kokomo lift to try the bottom half of Roundabout.  From there it was even higher, up the Lumberjack lift for the full Roundabout run.

Here's KariLynn working her way down the run later in the trip.  It was great run to get the feel for skiing.  Gentle slopes, wide open spaces, yet plenty of chances to tempt fate with a little speed.  Plus there were no advanced routes higher up the mountain feeding into this run.

After 36 hours awake, 3+ hours of skiing, and a base above 10,000 feet (coming from 1,300) we were ready to sack out.
