Texas State Capitol, Austin (December, 2001)

 
This is the front side of the building.  The one thing I did notice is there aren't any grand sets of stairs leading up to the entrances.  The main entrance (straight ahead in the picture) is only a few steps up.

However, the walkways and grounds are absolutely beautiful.  They are well taken care of and wide-open.  Plenty of flowers, benches and other nice touches.
