This the last rapid in the Pedernales
Falls area. And it was quite a rapid! The water was
rifling through here pretty quickly. Note the rock (exposed
bedrock) on the right side of the photo; the water's scouring action
has worn away a rather good sized bend in it. From here you also had a great view back up the falls area. To see the view of what the middle (main) section of the falls looks like click here.
